BIT is in Manila to promote High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDRB) as seismic isolator

WORLDBEX has a history of over a decade and it is the largest expo in Asia that focuses on the technology used in building and construction industry. This year, the event has attracted over 150,000 visitors. 

The 5-day event is held in Metro Manila at the World Trade Center from 14th to 18th March, 2018.

BIT and Doshin Rubber are among the few companies selected by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) to represent the country in this esteemed expo to showcase highly technical services and products as well as contributing to create an impact in the earthquake engineering prospective throughout the entire Philippines.

Notwithstanding the fact that the technology of seismic isolation is relatively new to the structural engineers and community of the country, the high level of acceptance and appreciation shown by visitors to our booth has been extremely surprising. We are sure that with an appropriate seismic design approach, the technology of base isolation could bring tremendous advantages to their current government 'Build, build, build' policy.
